"The best explanation of self-esteem that I have ever heard."
Kristen Maloney, Children's Librarian, Chilmark, MA

"My daughter, almost 9, was excited, intrigued and absorbed a lot of very important information in a short amount of time.  The classes were excellent and opened the door for conversations to take place that often cannot come so easily for parents and their children.  In my opinion, this type of "class" should be offered on a regular basis.  I'm looking forward to seeing Regina doing more of the same "magic" in the very near future."
Laura Entner, West Tisbury, MA

"I hired the Queen to do a crown-making party for my goddaughter and group of "tween" girls.  Wow!  She far exceeded my (and the girls') expectations for warmth, fun, awareness and creativity.  Thank you, Regina, for building self-esteem in the next generation of young people in our world."
Debbie Phillips, Founder, Women on Fire, West Tisbury, MA

"I had no idea what to expect and was astounded how Regina totally engaged the kids for more than two hours with her treasure troves of fun and learning. Now, I wouldn't have a kids' party without her!"
Rob Berkley, Executive Coach, West Tisbury, MA

"The fact that you had a different creative presentation (as well as extremely fun and colorful attire) in addition to a different story each week made the program a pleasure to experience.  The varied activities were mind provoking as well as entertaining.  I especially liked how you blended personal and social awareness along with your educational expertise.  The fact that you encouraged participation from all the children and that they all felt comfortable doing so shows a special talent that you share.  The children who participated in your workshop really had a very valuable and memorable experience.  And I did as well."
Alexandra J. Alves, Youth Services Coordinator, Vineyard Haven Public Library

"An entertaining, narrated journey through one person's life; filled with self-deprecating humor, double-entendre costumes(!), astute observations and insightful thought-starters to mull over, long after the Queen's "evening reign" has ended.  Everyone should see the Queen of Self-Esteem at least once ... then give themselves a hug!"
Janine Kao, New York, NY

"Recently, I had the pleasure of being in the presence of the Queen of Self Esteem… Her Royal Highness brings story telling back to its traditional roots, weaving together personal history, dreams and the mythical symbols of the animal kingdom to inspire transformation. The range with which she utilizes these themes allows the audience to transcend the personal story and respond to the dreamlike fantasy created by being in the presence of Royalty as well as bees, bears and human creatures.  Regina eases from one context to another while at the same time providing a timeless space to reflect.  Her levity adds to the mix as she seems to glide across the stage allowing her wand to lightly descend on the audience.  She is talking reality and real experience from eating disorder, to AIDS to cancer while at the same time providing the magic of fairy tale and the alchemy of transformation.  For all of the heaviness of the subject matter I felt lighter after seeing her perform. This is no easy feat.  We all confront the daily drama of life on, well, a daily basis but we tend to forget the airy lightness that life also provides---this is what helps us move through the common while feeling ourselves as part of a royal family. Regina QSE helps us to remember the castles in the sky from which we come."
Michael Jenkins, Social Worker, New York, NY

"I found your show to be very engaging because it was a combination of many aspects--whimsy, myth, depth, soul--and fun costuming! I'd actually like to see it be expanded to more time because I think there is a message that's important, especially for women."
Raja Shaheen, Reiki Master, New York, NY

testimonials from children

"She changed my life…I didn't know about self-esteem before I met her.  Now I feel great.  The most important point was that you have to love yourself the way you are - self-esteem is feeling good about yourself."
4th grade girl, West Tisbury, MA

"I felt bad and awful.  I always thought I was not good at anything.  Now I feel awesome, good, cool, good at stuff."
4th grade boy, West Tisbury, MA

"Thank you for helping our class learn more about self-esteem.  We all really enjoyed decorating our crowns, making shields, reading stories and learning the Self-Esteem Song.  These activities helped us learn to think about ourselves.  Our class really appreciated your visits.  Thanks a million!"
West Tisbury School, 4th grade students

"We liked your poems.  We liked your looks.  Most of all we like your satisfyingness.  COME BACK SOON!  Thank you!"
